Permanent Mine Refuge Chamber

Permanent Refuge Chambers are created by sealing off a reinforced concrete room constructed within the mine. This approach offers the most economical solution for accommodating large numbers of underground personnel at the same time.

Within this concrete structure, AYSAN installs the same high-performance doors used in our manufactured chambers. All additional components — including life-support systems, battery backup, scrubber unit, air-filtration modules, oxygen cylinders, communication system, and air-conditioning unit — are fully integrated on-site by our technical team.

Permanent Refuge Chambers can also serve secondary purposes during normal operations, such as a rest area, first-aid point, meeting location, or emergency assembly station, ensuring that the space remains functional even when not in use for emergencies.
